ROOMS

There are four types of regular rooms across the three-storied wooden main building built in 1931, the Annex, Miyamaso, and Keizanso.
We also have special Sanrakuso, Shunkeiso, Kumoi-no-ma, and Nanae-Yae-no-ma rooms.

※YUNOSHIMAKAN will have all non-smoking rooms from 1st September, 2019.
Please go to smoking area on the 5th floor when you smoke. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

MAIN BUILDING built in 1931 without bath
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

Built in the 1930s, the main building is registered as a tangible cultural property in Japan. Please enjoy the Japanese architecture and
Ryokan culture built in the early Showa era. Yunoshimakan is one of the few precious architectural building left from this period.

Overview: A 10-tatami or an 8-tatami matted Japanese room, a small connected room, a spacious veranda, and a toilet.

KEIZANSO with indoor bath
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

The large windows offer a panoramic view of Gero. Each room has a hot spring bath.

Overview: A 10-tatami matted Japanese room, a 3-tatami matted entrance space, a specious veranda with western style chairs, a ma gnificent window, a toilet, a deep natural hot spring bath which has an openable window that will make you feel like you are in an open-air bath.

SUISEN with twin bed room
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

The room has a twin bed room and Japanese tatami room. It has a hot spring indoor bath.

Overview: An 8-tatami matted room, a twin bed room, an entrance space, a spacious veranda, a toilet, a deep natural hot spring bath which has an openable window that will make you feel like you are in an open-air bath.

Please enjoy the Japanese architecture and Ryokan culture built in the early Showa era.

MOMIJI with open air-bath
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

In 2017, we renovated the room of MOMIJI. Two rooms merged into one room. It has outdoor and indoor hot spring baths.

Overview: An 8-tatami matted room, a small connected room, a spacious veranda, a natural hot spring bath and a toilet.

SANRAKUSO with open air-bath
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

A room with a tea house which expresses "wabi-sabi"(meaning: sense of serenity in Japan).
The room welcomes guests with the Japanese style dated back to the 1930s. You can also relax in a Hinoki Buro (a cypress bath)

Overview: A 8-tatami matted room, a 4.5-tatami matted room, an entrance space, a tearoom, a spacious veranda, a natural hot spring bath and a toilet.

KUMOI with open air-bath
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

The suite room offers panoramic views. The Showa and current Emperor and Empress of Japan has stayed in the past. You may also relax in a Hinoki Buro (cypress bath)

SHUNKEISO with open air-bath
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

Spend some time in the beauty of traditional Japanese lacquer called "Shunkei-nuri" which was built in 1930s. You may also relax in a Hinoki Buro (cypress bath)

Overview: An 8-tatami matted room, a 6-tatami matted room, an entrance space, a spacious veranda, a natural hot spring bath, and a toilet.

NANAE-YAE
(NON-SMOKING ROOM)

A special room where the Showa Emperor and Empress of Japan has previously stayed.
Many famous people continue to stay in this room today. You may also enjoy a Hinoki Buro (cypress bath)

Overview: A 16-tatami matted room, a 15-tatami matted room, a connected room, corridor in the room, a spacious veranda, a natural hot spring bath and a toilet.
